Itinerary
INTI PERU ADVENTURES will come to pick you up from your Hotel. Then you are going to see an incredible mixture of Inca and colonial style which is Qoricancha, “Temple of the Sun” or where the gold shines. During the Inca Empire this temple was dedicated to worship to the sun (“INTI”) and was filled with gold.when the Spanish arrived, became the base for the convent of Santo Domingo. After that, you will be taken to Sacsayhuaman, one of the emblematic buildings of the Inca Empire (just above from the center of the city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site) built by the Inca Pachacutec in the 15th Century. It is a vast fortress built from huge stones; the way how they built and transported and worked is still a mystery. It has been calculated that what we see today is only twenty percent of the original structure.
